Magnify the Lord with Me.

And Mary said: "My soul magnifies the Lord, And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior. For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant; For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed. For He who is mighty has done great things for me, And holy is His name. And His mercy is on those who fear Him From generation to generation. He has shown strength with His arm; He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. He has put down the mighty from their thrones, And exalted the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, And the rich He has sent away empty. He has helped His servant Israel, In remembrance of His mercy, As He spoke to our fathers, To Abraham and to his seed forever."

Know and Tell Friday

Here are my answers to this weeks questions:

  • Question 1 In the spirit of Christmas... Artificial or Real Christmas Tree?
Well we don't celebrate Christmas any more. A few years ago we realize the amount of unnecessary stress and pressure we felt from others and what we were putting on ourselves to buy things for others and put up decorations, etc... Financially it was too much stress and emotionally it was draining and I can't imagine what it was doing to us physically. However, we have been so happy and so much at peace since we stopped celebrating Christmas. We realize that it wasn't something that we needed to do in order to please God. God has not told us to celebrate Christmas and the truth be told. Jesus was not born on December 25th. As a matter of fact He was not born during the winter season. He was born sometime during spring or summer. Anyway, that is our personal convictions and we have found that to be the conviction of others whom we have spoken to more recently. Personally during this time I just want the presence of the Holy Spirit to be with me in a very significant way, I like to reflect upon His goodness to me and all that He has done for me and has brought me through this year and the previous years and just give Him thanks. I also like to look forward to the New Year and what He may be saying to me for the coming year.
  • Question 2 If your life was a TV show...what would the title be?
"My Journey Through Faith" I think that title would sum up where I have been, where I am now and where I am going. Our lives as Christians is all through faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the Word of God. God told us that without faith it is impossible to please Him and those who come to Him must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
  • Question 3 When you go to the movies what do you get from the Concession Stand?
I usually get buttered popcorn and sprite or fruit punch. Lately I have been getting the nachos with cheese. They are pretty good when they are warm.
  • Question 4 Cosmetic that you cannot live without?
I can live without cosmetics and have in the past and present. However, every now and then I like to put on some black eyeliner, a little powder foundation, lipstick, eye shadow, and a little blush (Mary Kay products are the best in my opinion). It's fun! It is definitely something that I can live without. I like to keep it simple and not fuss over things that are minor. I have come to find out that is where a lot of unnecessary stress comes from, a lot of wasted energy and time.
  • Bonus Question (gotta think about this one...)If you could go back in time to a pivotal point in your young life and give yourself one word of advice, and it would be guaranteed that you would follow the advice... What would you tell yourself... ( It is OK if you tell more than one thing :)
Without thinking twice about it-- I must say that it would be to never have sex before marriage. Not to be in a hurry to give that most precious and special part of myself without being married. Not to be in a hurry to grow up and just enjoy my life one day at a time. Enjoy being a teen and a young adult. Not to be in hurry to accomplish the next big goal. Another very important thing I would advise myself to do is to be myself and not to want to try and please everyone else all the time ( not to be a people pleaser). AMEN!!!

This is so funny!

Just let it get to the singing and you will like it. Very funny!

I Love You, Lord Today!

I just wanted to share this with you all. This song has been such a blessing to me!
Praise God! I love you, I love you, I love you, Lord today!

Monday, December 10, 2007

The following scripture reminds me that all we have to do is love God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength. If we do that then obeying Him won't feel like an obligation or duty but it will be a pleasure.
You know when you truly love someone -- you are willing to do anything, anything to please them and make them happy... even to the point of sacrificing your own wants and desires... Uuuummm!!!
I love you Jesus, I worship and adore you. I just want to tell you and show you, Lord I love you more than anything and anyone. My heart is yours forever and ever. AMEN!!!

"If you love Me, keep My commandments. "
(John 14:15)

Love is at the heart of obedience.

Know and Tell Friday!

Question 1:
What makes you cry?
Anything that has to do with abortion. Any stories I have heard or read. Also the pictures of aborted babies makes me cry. I know this is a really intense issue but it really does upset me. Even to the point where it is difficult for me to hear or view anything that has to do with aborting babies. I also love babies very much I think they are so sweet, precious, innocent, beautiful and an amazing gift from God. So I think it is because I have such a passion and intense love for babies that when I see this injustice that is brought upon them and there is nothing they can do about it -- it makes me very sad.
Question 2:
(Hopefully this question will bring a little comic relief your way)I am assuming everyone goes to their gyno for their regular checkups.... What do you do when you are getting you pap smear done?
I feel very uncomfortable during the entire examination. Then I feel very relieved when it is over.
Question 3:
(If you have recovered from question 2)Dream Job (Being a wife and a mother is probably the number one answer, so for this question name an occupation or ministry that you would like to work in)
I am so blessed because I am now working in the area of ministry that I believe that God wants me to be in. That is Christian Counseling. I love counseling women and children.
Bonus Question:
(Going Deeper...)What is one thing that you struggle with presently, or struggled with in the past that you hope does not get passed down to your children?
Lacking self-confidence. I too am currently praying and allowing God to work in my life in this area and believe me the opportunities are coming left and right for me to get deliverance in this area of my life. I thank God for all that he has brought me through so far so that my children won't have to suffer the things I did.

Wisdom for 2008

Here are some words of wisdom that was shared by a sister in Christ, Pastor Rose. These words are true and I couldn't say it any better. I have been through some of these issues this year and I thank God for using her to write this. It truly ministered to me. I pray it will do the same for you.

"1. KNOW WHO YOUR TRUE FRIENDS ARE-This may shock you, but your TRUE friends are probably not the individuals that you see and talk to every'd be surprised......

2. KNOW WHO HAS A HIDDEN AGENDA-These are people that are basically just tolerating you to get to a certain end (i.e. you may have a particular platform or a relationship with a person and the only reason they want to get close to you is to gain access to your platform and or infiltrate the relationship you have with a specific person......

3. KNOW WHO IS MANIPULATIVE-This generally occurs in leadership (but can happen in any relationship). The entire basis of your relationship is for them to get you to do and be for them, with no concern as to what your well being is-as long as you're doing what THEY want you to do to make their program work, then all is well. But...just try and say NO.....see what happens.......

4. KNOW WHO IS LOYAL TO YOU-In my opinion....LOYALTY IS EVERYTHING. If you don't know that they have your back, and that they truly mean you good, what you gotta do, because when the deal goes me...YOU WILL BE LEFT OUT THERE BY YOURSELF.....

5. KNOW WHO YOU CAN TRUST-this one is a stickler for me-and it's self-explanatory. IF YOU CAN'T TRUST THEM...THEN WHY EVEN WASTE YOUR ENERGY??? Thank God that He allowed you to see....and move on.....

6. KNOW WHO IS USING YOU-Oh my God....this one should have been listed as number 1. There are so many that use you as a means to an know, as long as you provide this service or as long as you keep me in your inner circle telling me things about someone I want to be close to but when you shut down the information the interaction stops...

7. KNOW YOUR WORTH-so many times we belittle ourselves not going forth and branching out with all that God has placed within us, and are being taken serious advantage of...because we don't know our worth. Believe me...those that are taking advantage of you are WELL AWARE of your value!!! It's time for you to take notice!!!!

8. KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN "CONFIDENTIALITY" AND "SECRECY"-There are times that we are given information that should most definitely be held in the utmost confidence; but then there are things that when we are told "shh-it's a secret" or we are made to feel that if we say something we will be disowned is OUT OF ORDER AND NOT OF GOD!!!! If what we are doing for God is pure, then there is absolutely nothing to be quiet about-I mean, what are we hiding???? This is often use by those in leadership to just test the waters to see how far you will take this directive, in addition to placing you in a position to be manipulated (see 3).

Lastly, please, please, remember:

This was a blessing to me and I pray that it was a blessing to you as well. May you all have a blessed 2008, with new true, genuine, and Godly relationships. I pray that they are relationships that are profitable and Kingdom focused. It's time for us to focus on God's agenda and do the work of the Kingdom and not be bothered or smothered my relationships that deter or distract us from doing what God has for us to do. So right here and right now my prayer is that God's will be done in each of our lives. I pray that we will develop a deep burning desire and passion in our hearts to do the work that He has called us to do. I pray that every obstacle will be removed in the name of Jesus. I pray that God's purposes and plan will prevail in the name of Jesus. I pray that no weapon formed against shall prosper and every tongue that rises against us in judgement will be condemned in the name of Jesus. I thank God that we will do all that He has planned for us to do. And His Kingdom will be advanced and His Will, will be done in Jesus name. Amen!!!

Know and Tell Friday!

Here is a great new meme which began last Friday by a Woman of God under the blog title (To Know Him), this is a great way for us to get to know each other. I am excited about it.

Here are my answers to today's questions.

1.What scares you? Scary movies and scary dreams. I don't watch scary movies anymore, thank God. There was a pattern in my life many years ago and it took me a while to see that every time I watched something scary I would have a scary dream. It was always the same dream. I would be running for my life and then the thing that was chasing after me would catch me and when I tried to scream for help nothing would come out. I would wake up right away feeling awful and afraid because I was so terrified that I lost my voice and I couldn't scream for help. After much prayer and seeking God about it He revealed to me that I was giving the enemy (evil spirits) an entrance into my spirit. I am very sensitive when it comes to things like that. Ever since that time -- which is about 4 or 5 years ago I stopped watching any kind of scary shows or movies.

2. Coke or Pepsi (Diet counts)?I do not like Coke or Pepsi. I like Sprite.

3. I would love to try... being away for 40 days and 40 nights by myself in the mountains somewhere peaceful and quiet. Just me and my Savior, no television, no phone, no interruptions.

Bonus Question:

4. Spiritually speaking, do you have a Quiet Time? If so, where, when, and how long have you had one? If not, what is stopping you from having a Quiet time? (Quiet time is defined as time alone with God. It can consist of praying, reading God's word, and worship among many other things).

Ummm... I must say that I agree with you on this one. Definitely not as consistent as I should be with it. I am not very happy with myself about it. But at the same time I don't beat myself up about it either. Because that won't change anything. I know what I must do and that is I must go into serious praying and fasting and reading the Word for about 28 days straight -- that I may develop this habit of spending consistent quality, personal, and loving time with my best Friend. I truly miss it! One major distraction for me is my environment. Our home was under construction and was just finished today. However there are still many things out of order in my environment which makes it very difficult to find a comfortable peaceful place to spend time with my Father. But everything is coming together and so I believe within a month or less I should be on track with daily quiet time with God. Amen! Amen!

Words Of Wisdom To Live By

I love wisdom and the understanding. I love to read words of wisdom. I love to live according to wisdom. One of the best ways to live a smart and prosperous life is to live by wisdom. I think there is a big lie out there which states that you have to mess up in order to learn how not to live. That is not true! I believe some of us that want to do the wrong thing use that for an excuse to do the wrong thing or live the wrong way or just to satisfy our own selfish/wrong desires, motives and intentions. The Word of God is always true and these are just a few scriptures about wisdom. There are many more you can read throughout the entire Bible.

"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction."

(Proverbs 1:7)

"Happy is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains understanding;..."
(Proverbs 3:13)

Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth.
(Proverbs 4:5)

Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.
(Proverbs 4:7)

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
(James 1:5)

So with that said these words of wisdom and quotes that I will share from time to time will be for those who want to live their life according to wisdom. I hope you will enjoy them, be encouraged by them, be challenged by them and share them with someone else.

Words of Wisdom taken from Rev. Run's book:

" You must learn how to give before you can receive. Just as in nature, when earth gives forth its bounty, it gives seeds for the next season. We must learn to plant seeds for our harvest of health, happiness, love, success, and prosperity."

Remember in all your getting (wisdom) get understanding. Wisdom is knoweldge applied correctly in other words it is the correct application of knowledge. We can know many things but until we know the correct way to apply it -- it's only use-less knowlege. What good is knowledge if you don't use it. When you understand wisdom then you will be able to apply it correctly to your life.

Thanksgiving Day!

Well, I had a great Thanksgiving Day. The food was great and the fellowship with my family and friends was really good. As you can see the children had a wonderful time. They were watching movies, singing, dancing and playing -- they had a ball. Some adults were more engaged in deep political and controversal debates -- it was quite interesting. The other adults were watching Shrek the Third and Ratatouille ( none of which I have seen). However, I will be watching Shrek the Third for the first time as soon as I am finished writing this post. Thanksgiving is great but the clean-up time is no fun because after you have finished eating, talking, laughing and watching t.v. --- all your body wants to do is sleep. But we know that we can't sleep just yet because we want to be able to eat leftovers the next day and we must put the food away. By the way I think that Thanksgiving leftovers are the best -- especially the kind of meal we make. We have an American slash Jamaican style Thanksgiving Feast and it is absolutely delicious. I hope everyone had a great feast and fellowship with their family as I did. I truly thank God for blessing us so much and that we were able to have the feast that we did and the fellowship -- it was all good. Thank You for Father for blessing me!

"I AM.. Online Bible Study."

I came across this online Bible study and so far it has blessed me -- just to read it and now I would like to participate in it and I pray that it will be a blessing to others who visit the website by clicking the link above or by reading my responses to the questions. Thank you Lisa and may God continue to bless and keep you and your family."
Lesson 1:
Just In Time
Acts 7:17-20
(to see the complete reading click on picture above on the side)
1. Are there any circumstances or relationships in your life where you can see God has intentionally placed you? What do you perceive may be at stake if you do or do not speak out for Him? Yes, there are relationships and circumstances that I believe God has intentionally placed me in and around. I believe that just as everything God has created has a purpose. I am here for a purpose and everything I do or say must be done for God's Glory. I perceive that if I don't speak out for Him especially if He has placed it upon my heart to do so then I won't be obedient to Him.
(1 Samuel 15:22) So Samuel said: "Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams. Obeying God and His Word is very important to me as there are positive consequences for obedience -- there are also negative consequences for disobedience. I would much rather obey and be a blessing to others (whether they like it or not is not my concern). I must do the will of my Father.
2. Can you honestly describe yourself as a woman with a 'yes' in her spirit? If not, what keeps you from this? Yes, I can honestly say that I am a woman with a yes to God in her spirit. Most recently that yes has become a strong and steady one. In the past it has been difficult and a challenge at time because I struggled with a spirit of fear and intimidation. But thanks be to God for He has given me victory over that. I am no longer intimated. God has made me free in that area of my life. This deliverance came about by facing certain circumstances and situations in my life and I just had to confront them with boldness and not hold back or run away from them. I thank God for this freedom because now I can be more available to Him and for Him to use me for His Glory.
3. Do you recognize any circumstances in your life which could be described as an 'unrecurring event'? Have you ever said 'no' to one and watched God use someone else instead? Yes, I can remember one event that occurred over a year ago. I was asked to do a praise dance at an annual church event. I think at that time I was overwhelmed with my job and so I turned it down. I attended the event and watched God used another person to minister in dance at the event. I have learned that even when we want to say yes that certain situations or circumstances in our lives may blindside us and cause us to miss a God-given opportunity.
4. Are you in an emotionally and spiritually healthy place? If yes, how are you using this freedom to minister to others? If no, what do you feel is holding you in your Egypt? I would say that right now I need to work on being in a healthy place emotionally. What is holding me back is my thoughts in regards to this situation that I am dealing with right now. That can really wear on you especially for the fact that I feel it is not completely my fault and I am trying to work it out but I am not getting the cooperation that I think is needed in order to resolve this issue (on-going issue for almost 6 years). So because of that I had to take drastic measures and within a week or two, I believe it will work out and then I can be more at peace and get some things in order.
Spiritually I would say that I am doing alright but I want to be much much better. Yes I can minister to others but I want to be fully equipped in every way so I may be 100% available for God to do what He wants to do through me. I don't want to be half way there. And really my major area of change is consistency. I need to be consistent on a daily basis with my devotional times with God. My prayer and I hope you will pray for me in this area is to be consistent in times of prayer, reading the word, exercising my faith (being a doer of the word at all times, and trusting God in all things at all times) and finally fasting. I need to be consistent in setting apart times of complete and total consecration to the Lord by denying myself of physical food and entertainment --- to feasting on the Word of God, seeking Him with all my heart, mind, soul and body (everything within me) and being in His presence. Also so that I may get to know Him better and hear Him more clearly.

A Very Interesting Prayer!

Why Did You Make Me Black Lord
Lord .. Why did you make me black?
Why did you make someone
the world would hold back?

Black is the color of dirty clothes,
of grimy hands and feet...
Black is the color of darkness,
of tired beaten streets...

Why did you give me thick lips,
a broad nose and kinky hair?
Why did you create someone
who receives the hated stare?

Black is the color of the bruised eye
when someone gets hurt...
Black is the color of darkness,
black is the color of dirt.

Why is my bone structure so thick,
my hips and cheeks so high?
Why are my eyes brown,
and not the color of the sky?

Why do people think I'm useless?
How come I feel so used?
Why do people see my skin
and think I should be abused?
Lord, I just don't understand...
What is it about my skin?
Why is it some people want to hate me
and not know the person within?

Black is what people are "Labeled"
when others want to keep them away...
Black is the color of shadows cast...
Black is the end of the day.

Lord you know my own people mistreat me,
and you know this just ain't right...
They don't like my hair, they don't like my
skin, as they say I'm too dark or too light!

Lord, don't you think
it's time to make a change?
Why don't you redo creation
and make everyone the same?

God's Reply:

Why did I make you black? Why did I make you black?

I made you in the color of coal
from which beautiful diamonds are formed...
I made you in the color of oil,
the black gold which keeps people warm.

Your color is the same as the rich dark soil
that grows the food you need...
Your color is the same as the black stallion and
panther, Oh what majestic creatures indeed!

All colors of the heavenly rainbow
can be found throughout every nation...
When all these colors are blended,
you become my greatest creation!

Your hair is the texture of lamb's wool,
such a beautiful creature is he...
I am the shepherd who watches them,
I will ALWAYS watch over thee!

You are the color of the midnight sky,
I put star glitter in your eyes...
There's a beautiful smile hidden behind your pain...
That's why your cheeks are so high!

You are the color of dark clouds
from the hurricanes I create in September...
I made your lips so full and thick,
so when you kiss...they will remember!

Your stature is strong,
your bone structure thick to withstand the
burden of time...
The reflection you see in the mirror,
that image that looks back, that is MINE!

So get off your knees,
look in the mirror and tell me what you see?
I didn't make you in the image of darkness...
I made you in the image of ME!

True Biblical Prosperity

I just wanted to share this article that was written by my husband Pastor Justin Cohen and printed in the Philadelphia Daily News.

Printed in the Philadelphia Daily News 2003

Beloved, I pray that you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers." III John 2 (NKJV).

An often quoted scripture, but often improperly.

The "Prosperity Gospel" as it is sometimes referred to, has used this one scripture out of context and used it as a pretext to teach an unbalanced view of the Kingdom of God and created an entire faction within Christianity that is focused on money and selfishness.

The Bible warns us that there will be those who are "…men of corrupt minds destitute of the truth who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself." I Timothy 6:5 (NKJV)

So what is true Biblical prosperity?

The answer to that question lies in the correct understanding of the word "prosperity" and the correct explanation of the phraseology of the verse.

The word "prosper" in the original Greek means to "have help along the way" or to "aid in reaching".

This of course presupposes that there is a destiny in mind and a method of getting there.

In Christianity, our destiny is godliness, not as a means of gain, but in our character.

The method by which we get there is called discipleship.

Notice the phrase in the verse "even as". This means to the same extent or to the same degree as. So the level of our prosperity in all areas of our life is dependent upon and directly proportionate to the degree that we prosper in our soul.

What is the soul and how do we prosper in it?

Our soul is our mind, our will, and our emotions, in other words our thoughts, desires and feelings.

We will prosper in our minds through learning the Word of God and having our mind renewed.

We will prosper in our will as we pray, praise and worship Jesus allowing Him to transform and conform our will to His.

We will prosper in our emotions as a natural result of the prospering in our mind and will.

If our thinking is right and our desires are right, we will feel right.

This must also be in conjunction with a disciplined lifestyle that includes diet and exercise (notice the scripture prosper AND be in health).

In summary, true Biblical prosperity is the result of prospering in our soul which is the direct result of the process of discipleship.

Prosperity is not just financial. It is to permeate every area of our life.

We need to remember that God "…as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness…"

The goal is godliness, not money. If we commit ourselves to godliness of character through discipleship we will have everything that we need to succeed in life.

Finally, the Bible warns us "…the prosperity of fools will destroy them." Proverbs 1:32 (KJV)

So don't be fool – be a disciple – and prosper!

Yes It Is!!!

Did you know that your obedience is directly connected to your love!!!

Just think about...

The deeper our love is for an individual the more we want to and the more we yield ourselves over into doing the things that pleases that individual. Children are notorious for this. They will often do anything to please the adults in their lives especially their parents because they have such a pure, unconditional love for them.

How about when you first start falling in love with that special someone --- weren't you willing to do just about anything for that person because you loved them so much. Well you may be wondering where I am going with this ... Ok, here it is!

We ought to love God so much that it's not a problem or issue when it comes to obeying Him. We know that everything that God has ever wanted us to do is always for our own good -- never for "bad". God is a good, Father. He will never lead us astray. He made us, He will never tell us to do something that will cause us to be separated from Him eternally. In His Word it says if you love me, keep(obey) my commandments. You know that God never ask us to do something that He did not do. He told us that He loved us so much and then He showed us... How? By the dying of His only begotten Son, Jesus, on the cross for the sins of you and I. Can you imagine someone who never did anything wrong coming to take the punishment of your sins which was eternal death ( separation from God-- forever) and eternal torment. He did that for us and He did not have to do it. Hallelujah!!! I know that I know that God loves me and He will never require of us what He has required of His Son. It is already done!!! Amen! All we have to do is die to our flesh (selfish and self-centered desires and ways) daily so that Christ will be made manifested through us. So that God can get the Glory which He sooooo deserves......
Won't you ask God by His Holy Spirit today to fill your heart with a longing and a desire to grow deeper in love with Him so that you can live a life of obedience to His Word and will for your life.
He deserves our complete love, devotion and obedience to Him.
Father fill us up with more, more of your love, word, and desires. So that we can love You completely and obey completely with no hesitations. Father remove every fear, doubt, distractions, or reservations that would be an hindrance to your love and will being made perfect in us. Lord teach us more about You by Your Spirit so that we may grow more in understanding and deeper in love with you every day. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen!

This Is Wonderful!

Radical Reconstruction

Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Matthew 5:12

In the Sermon on the Mount… what Jesus promises is not a gimmick to give us goose bumps nor a mental attitude that has to be pumped up at pep rallies. No, Matthew 5 describes God's radical reconstruction of the heart. Observe the sequence. First, we recognize we are in need (we're poor in spirit). Next, we repent of our self-sufficiency (we mourn). We quit calling the shots and surrender control to God (we're meek). So grateful are we for His presence that we yearn for more of Him (we hunger and thirst). As we grow closer to Him, we become more like Him. We forgive others (we're merciful). We change our outlook (we're pure in heart). We love others (we're peace-makers). We endure injustice (we're persecuted for righteousness' sake).

It's no casual shift of attitude. It is a demolition of the old structure and a creation of the new. The more radical the change, the greater the joy (Amen). And it's worth every effort, for this is the joy of God (Hallelujah).

Guard the Gateway

The devil, your enemy, goes around like a roaring lion looking for someone to eat. Refuse to give in to him, by standing strong in your faith.

1Peter 5:8-9

You've got to admit, some of our hearts are trashed out. Let any riffraff knock on the door, and we throw it open. Anger shows up, and we let him in. Revenge needs a place to stay, so we have him pull up a chair. Pity wants to have a party, so we show him the kitchen. Lust rings the bell, and we change the sheets on the bed. Don't we know how to say no?

Many don't. For most of us, thought management is, well, unthought-of. We think much about time management, weight management, personnel management, even scalp management. But what about thought management? Shouldn't we be as concerned about managing our thoughts as we are managing anything else? Jesus was. Like a trained soldier at the gate of a city, He stood watch over His mind. He stubbornly guarded the gateway of His heart....

If He did, shouldn't we…?

Just Like Jesus

***A New Thing***

The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.
(Proverbs 10:22)
God is soooo Good, Great, Amazing, Awesome, Majestic, Perfect, Wonderful, Beautiful, Holy, Righteous, Excellent.... Oh I Love Him so much! I Love You Jesus I Worship and Adore You-- I just want to tell You -- Lord, I Love You, MORE, than anything/anyone.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for what You have done in me and for what You are doing through me.

Like never before I am experiencing an Increase in the Presence of the Lord through Peaceful Productivity, Blessings, Courage, Joy, Love, Peace, and Strength in Abundance; and it's all because of Jesus! Hallelujah!!!

There is nothing like the Glory of God being with you, in you, on you, and around you -- everywhere you go and everything you do.

The Presence of the Lord is here. I feel Him in me and in my atmosphere. The Spirit of the Lord is here. I feel Him in me and in my atmosphere. He is with me always and I am so grateful for that.

"The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
(Isaiah 61:1)
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn,
(Isaiah 61:2)
To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified."
(Isaiah 61:3)

Meditate on these things and you too can experience peace, joy, love...

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy meditate on these things.
(Philippians 4:8)

Ooohhh Yes...

{ What you think (meditate, focus on) about -- You bring about.}

"What you focus on with your thoughts and feeling is what you attract into your experience. People think about what they don’t want and attract more of the same"

Feed Your Spirit!

Reading Dramatic Death
What you feed grows!
(Feed your spirit with the Word of God and godly things so that God can get the glory.)
What you starve dies!
(Starve the ungodly desires of the flesh so that it will submit easily to the Spirit of God)

(Psalms 119:11)
Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.

I am living a Purpose driven life.

My Quote inspired by the Holy Ghost:

Everything that God has created or even done has a specific Purpose so therefore I am going to live my God Purposed life on Purpose for His Glory. He created me for a Purpose, and it shall come to pass because I choose to live a life filled with God's Purpose on Purpose. Hallelujah!!! Amen!!! Glory to God!!!

I am destined for Greatness because Greatness lives inside of me.

(1 John 4:4)
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

Have Your way in me God however You want to. I am Yours completely. My answer is YES, YES, YES and AMEN!

If you are a child of God this is for you as well. If you are not a child of God you can become one by receiving Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. To get more understanding read my blog entitled "Jesus is the answer!"
Won't you become a child of God today and reap the many benefits that Christ died and rose again to give to all who receive Him and believe?
Unfortunately many people have been told and have the misunderstanding that all people are children of God but that is not correct. We are all creations of God but not children until we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior of our lives -- the gift of salvation.

Very Important Information! Think About It! Is It Worth It?

! Abortion Complications
Immediate Complications

Excessive bleeding (hemorrhage)*Using RU-486, bleeding can go on for more than a monthPuncture and tearing of the womb (uterus)*Infection from mild to fatal in intensity (sometimes parts of the baby are left inside the womb)Cervical laceration in 5% of womenHepatitis, from blood transfusions, blood clots and embolisms Sterility, ranging from 2% to 5% of abortions*Could make removal of the uterus necessary. Your partner would then be unable to have any children.

Long-Term Complications

Guilt and personality disturbancesIn future desired pregnancies: Miscarriage Premature delivery because of damage to the cervix Tubal pregnancies (increased from 8-fold to 20-fold by abortion)Breast CancerAn abortion during high estrogen levels in the early months of pregnancy predisposes a woman to getting breast cancer. In fact, a full-term pregnancy early in a woman's reproductive life is protective against breast cancer. A 1994 National Cancer Institute study of over 1,800 women in Washington state found a significant 50 percent risk increase among women who had an abortion. The risk was more than double for women whose abortion (or first abortion) took place before age 18 or over age 30.

Jesus Is The Answer!!!

This is the best decision that you will ever make in your life.

The ROMANS ROAD is a pathway you can walk.It is a group of bible verses from the book of Romans in the New Testament. If you walk down this road you will end up understanding how to be saved.

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." We all have sin in our hearts. We all were born with sin. We were born under the power of sin's control. Admit that you are a sinner.

Romans 6:23a "...The wages of sin is death..." Sin has an ending. It results in death. We all face physical death, which is a result of sin. But a worse death is spiritual death that alienates us from God, and will last for all eternity. The Bible does plainly teach that there is a place called the Lake of Fire where lost people will be in torment forever. It is the place where people end up that remain spiritually dead. Understand that you deserve death for your sin.

Romans 6:23b "...But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Salvation is a free gift from God to you! We can't earn this gift, but we must reach out and receive it. Ask God to forgive you and save you.

Romans 5:8 "God demonstrates His own love for us, in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us!" When Jesus died on the cross He paid sin's penalty. He paid the cosmic price for all sin, and when He took all the sins of the world on Himself on the cross, He bought us out of slavery to sin and death! The only condition is that we believe in Him and what He has done for us, understanding that we are now joined with Him, and that He is our life. Because He loved us and gave Himself for us! Give your life to God... His love poured out in Jesus on the cross is your only hope to have forgiveness and change. His love bought you out of being a slave to sin. His love is what saves you. Not religion, or church membership. God loves you! And reaches you right where you are.

Romans 10:13 "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved!" Call out to God in the name of Jesus!

Romans 10:9,10 "...If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation." If you know that God is knocking on your heart door, ask Him to come into your heart.

Jesus said, Revelation 3:20a "Behold I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him..." Is Jesus knocking on your heart's door?Believe in Him. Ask Him to come in to your heart by faith, and ask Him to reveal Himself to you. Open the bible to the gospel of John and read what God says about Jesus, about you, and about being born again.

Lord Jesus, I need You in my life. I believe You are the Son of God and that You died on the cross for me. Please forgive my sins and create a clean, new heart in me. Renew my spirit so that I can hear Your voice. I accept You as my Savior! If you have prayed the prayer, please e-mail us at and share your salvation victory. The Angels in heaven rejoice over one soul. Please allow us to rejoice with you and welcome YOU to the family of God.

How Can This Be Right???

This is inside of the placenta

"I could've been a future president!!!"

"Mommy, didn't you love me?"

"Was I really a mistake?"

"I'm sorry you didnt love me enough to give me a chance!"

"I could've been a doctor and found a cure for cancer!"
