I've Been Kissed

I have been kissed

SO deep that I am consumed by so many emotions

Ive been kissed

I feel so fulfilled and so secure

Secure in the person that you've created me to be

Ive been kissed

Kissed with a new found understanding of L-I-F-E

Kissed with a passion to strive for more than what this life has to offer me

Ive been kissed

Not by a stranger, but by someone that knows me from the inside out

Knows my inner parts

Each strand that is on my head

Ive been kissed

Made clean

No longer feeling worthless but uplifted, like a Queen

Ive been kissed

Kissed by the only being that can penetrate deep into my mind, body, and soul

My spirit has been kissed by the Lover of my Soul.

3-year-old Reese:

"Our Father, Who does art in heaven,

Harold is His name.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A little boy was overheard praying:
"Lord, if you can't make me a better boy, don't worry about it.
I'm having a real good time like I am."
After the christening of his baby brother in church,
Jason sobbed all the way home in the back seat of the car.
His father asked him three times what was wrong.
Finally, the boy replied,
"That preacher said he wanted us brought up in a Christian home,
and I wanted to stay with you guys."
I had been teaching my three-year old daughter, Caitlin,
the Lord's Prayer for several evenings at bedtime.
She would repeat after me the lines from the prayer.
Finally, she decided to go solo.
I listened with pride as she carefully enunciated each word,
right up to the end of the prayer:
"Lead us not into temptation," she prayed,
"but deliver us from E-mail.
One particular four-year-old prayed,
"And forgive us our trash baskets
as we forgive those who put trash in our baskets."
A Sunday school teacher asked her children as they
were on the way to church service,
"And why is it necessary to be quiet in church?"
One bright little girl replied,
"Because people are sleeping."
Six-year-old Angie and her four-year-old
brother, Joel, were sitting together in church.
Joel giggled, sang, and talked out loud.
Finally, his big sister had had enough.
"You're not supposed to talk out loud in church."
"Why? Who's going to stop me?" Joel asked.
Angie pointed to the back of the church and said,
"See those two men standing by the door?
They're hushers."
A mother was preparing pancakes for her sons,Kevin 5, and Ryan 3.
The boys began to argue over who would get the first pancake.
Their mother saw the opportunity for a moral lesson.
"If Jesus were sitting here, He would say,
'Let my brother have the first pancake, I can wait.'
Kevin turned to his younger brother and said,
"Ryan, you be Jesus!"
A father was at the beach with his children
when the four-year-old son ran up to him,
grabbed his hand, and led him to the shore
where a seagull lay dead in the sand.
"Daddy, what happened to him?" the son asked.
"He died and went to Heaven," the Dad replied.
The boy thought a moment and then said,
"Did God throw him back down?"
A wife invited some people to dinner.
At the table, she turned to their six-year-old daughter and said,
"Would you like to say the blessing?"
"I wouldn't know what to say," the girl replied.
"Just say what you hear Mommy say," the wife answered.
The daughter bowed her head and said,
"Lord, why on earth did I invite all these people to dinner?"
How To Recognize Your Mate.
Recognize – to perceive what was known before.
1. Your mate must be God approved. Read Genesis 2:18; Genesis 24:1-7
2. Attraction does not equal worthiness of one’s heart.
3. Marriage is a sowing ground. It’s a wide-open field. Sow seeds of
patience, love, beauty, hope, kindness, longsuffering, self-control, etc.
4. Think twice about this person if you have trouble and are ashamed to introduce this person to others.
5. Think twice if this person takes your focus or mind off God.
6. Your mate is not given to you to create joy or to make you feel happy. Your mate is a gift from God.
7. Your mate will protect you and help you to produce focus.
8. Your mate will help to reduce the distractions in life.
9. Think twice if you don’t have a passion to give yourself to your mate.
10. Think twice if the person still has a need to be recognized by the opposite sex. Or if this person flirts with the opposite sex.
11. Think twice if your achievement does not produce excitement in my mate.
12. Think twice if your mate side against you without hearing your part first.
13. Think twice if he/she does not celebrate you.
14. Think twice if they don’t continue to improve.
15. Your mate should be captured by what captures you. They should be excited about the things that excite you – even if they don’t care for it.
16. Think twice if they like rebellion or like getting into mischief.
17. Think twice if you never see repentance (to turn or change from negative behavior)
18. Think twice if they easily give up on you.
19. Think twice if they blow little things out of proportion.
20. Think twice if your mate doesn’t want to impress you anymore.
21. Think twice if they don’t ask quality questions about you or your dreams.
22. Think twice if they constantly ignore good counsel.
I'm Back!!!
Wow, I can't believe it!
It's been a long time since I posted a blog.
I am very sorry to those of you who check this regularly and haven't seen anything new.
I do have a very good excuse as to why I have not posted.
I am a teacher -- need I say more. Those of you who are teachers know what I am talking about. It is a 24/7 job and I think it is even more so when you work in a private Christian School. I am teaching 3rd grade and it is a lot of work. All I can say is WOW!!!
I have been very sick also and I think that is from lack of rest and too much stress!
But I thank God that I made it through and He has been real good to me.
Anyway I will try to post more often.
Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year!!!
I love Him!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the day the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad in it!
I just wanted to take this time and just thank God for His goodness. He is so good and wonderful and I love Him with all my heart, all my mind, all my soul, and all of my strength. I praise God because He is worthy to be praised. I praise Him because He chose me and He first loved me. I love Him and will forever live my life to please Him and Him only because He only is worthy of all I have to give, because He created me for His divine purpose and for His pleasure. I will do what it is that He has placed me on this earth to do because to do anything else is vanity, it is a waste, it is good for nothing. I want to go home to live with Jesus and not the devil in hell because God did not create hell for man but God created hell for the devil and his followers. Why should I chose to go somewhere that was not made for me to go, especially when God has a mansion waiting for me in Heaven. I am going home to be with Jesus.
I will have to pay a price because Jesus said if anyone desires to follow Him they must pick up their cross and follow Him daily -- not when we feel like it or don't but all the time. I thank God that Jesus paid the price for our sins and so we don't have to be eternally separated from Him. I thank God that even though trials and tribulations come -- it only comes to make me stronger it only comes to make me a good soldier in His army. There is a war going on and we can't be whimpy cry babies. We must fight the good fight as a soldier in God's army.
I thank God that no one or nothing shall separate me from Him and His perfect and unconditional love.
Romans 8:28; 35-39
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: "For Your sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter."
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Thank You, Jesus! Hallelujah!!!!! Bouncy 5
Are You Committed?
by Paul Van Dyke
When you posses an innermost spirit and desire. When your dye has been cast. When your decision has been made. When you have chosen to step over the line, stand up and be counted and become a disciple of the determined. When you won't look back, let up, slow down, back away or be still. When your past has been redeemed. When your present makes sense, your future is secure. When you are finished and done with low living, light walking, small planning, smooth knees, sullen dreams, tame vision, mundane talking, cheap giving, dwarf goals. When you live by faith, and lean on your strengths. When you walk with confidence. When you are lifted by prayer and labored by love. When your direction is set, your gait is fast, your goal is real, your road is rough, your way is narrow, your companions are few, but your guide is reliable and your mission is clear. When you cannot be bought, compromised, deterred, lured away, turned back, deluded or delayed. When you will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, pause in the presence of popularity, or meander in the maze of mediocrity. When you won't give up, let up or shut up until you have saved up,stored up, prayed up, paid up, and become the person God intended you to be. When you are committed, that's stand out from mediocrity. When your desire dominates your doubt, When your purpose in life is greater than your problems, that's when you will be BOUNTIFULLY BLESSED!
If a child lives with encouragement, he learns confidence.
If a child lives with praise, he learns to appreciate.
If a child lives with fairness, he learns justice.
If a child lives with security, he learns to have faith.
If a child lives with approval, he learns to like himself.
If a child lives with acceptance and friendship, he learns to find love in the world.
The Greatest Prayer That One Could Ever Pray!
The Greatest Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come to You in the name of Jesus, asking for forgiveness of all my sins? Your word says, "...the one who come to Me I will by no means cast out." (John 6:37), so I know You won't cast me out, but You take me in and I thank You for it.
You said in Your Word, "Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13).
Today, I am calling on Your Name, to save me now.
You also said, "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10).
I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
I believe that He died on Calvary and was raised from the dead on the third day.
I believe that He ascended into heaven and now sits at the right hand of God the Father interceding for me.
I receive You, this day as my Lord and my Savior!
Thank You, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
Eternal Life!!!
For those of us who have experienced the death of someone whom we love here is a poem for you. However, I must let you know that this poem is only pertaining to those who have accepted Jesus Christ has their Savior and Lord. Because Jesus is The Way, The Truth, and The Life and no one comes to the Father (God) except through Him (Jesus). In other words the only way that you will have eternal life -- (living in Heaven with God forever after you die) is to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord and to confess and repent from your sins (wicked/evil ways). Don't just take my word for it read the book of John in the Bible. And if you have any questions about it or would like someone to pray for you and with you -- feel free to email your name and number to me or your prayer requests. My email address is .
"Don't Cry For Me"
Don't cry for me, don't cry for me,
For I have longed to see the King,
I've worked so hard to seek His face
Don't cry for me, I've won the race
Oh please don't focus on what you see,
The shell you view it's not really me
The flesh must die but my spirit is alive
I now reside upon most high
Shed tears of joy not tears of sorrow
Although you'll miss me, I'll miss you too
We'll meet again when your work is through
O rejoice on my behalf, someone be my feet, someone be my hands
Rejoice down here, I'll be rejoicing over there
I have a new life and peace right here.
Finally, I just want to add that Revelation 21:4 says "God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying."
Sow an act and you reap a habit; sow a habit and you reap a character; sow a character and you reap a destiny.
Something to think about!
Here is something that I read today and I just wanted to share it with you all.
"I exhort you never to allow any previous failures to hold you back. Don't judge your future by where you've been! If you do, you'll never go beyond your past! No matter how often you have fallen, there is unfailing hope-- God specializes in turning cowards into champions! Hallelujah! His power is perfected in weakness."
