Words Of Wisdom To Live By

I love wisdom and the understanding. I love to read words of wisdom. I love to live according to wisdom. One of the best ways to live a smart and prosperous life is to live by wisdom. I think there is a big lie out there which states that you have to mess up in order to learn how not to live. That is not true! I believe some of us that want to do the wrong thing use that for an excuse to do the wrong thing or live the wrong way or just to satisfy our own selfish/wrong desires, motives and intentions. The Word of God is always true and these are just a few scriptures about wisdom. There are many more you can read throughout the entire Bible.


"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction."

(Proverbs 1:7)


"Happy is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains understanding;..."
(Proverbs 3:13)



Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth.
(Proverbs 4:5)



Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.
(Proverbs 4:7)



If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
(James 1:5)


So with that said these words of wisdom and quotes that I will share from time to time will be for those who want to live their life according to wisdom. I hope you will enjoy them, be encouraged by them, be challenged by them and share them with someone else.

Remember in all your getting (wisdom) get understanding. Wisdom is knoweldge applied correctly in other words it is the correct application of knowledge. We can know many things but until we know the correct way to apply it -- it's only use-less knowlege. What good is knowledge if you don't use it. When you understand wisdom then you will be able to apply it correctly to your life.
