This Is Wonderful!

Radical Reconstruction

Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Matthew 5:12

In the Sermon on the Mount… what Jesus promises is not a gimmick to give us goose bumps nor a mental attitude that has to be pumped up at pep rallies. No, Matthew 5 describes God's radical reconstruction of the heart. Observe the sequence. First, we recognize we are in need (we're poor in spirit). Next, we repent of our self-sufficiency (we mourn). We quit calling the shots and surrender control to God (we're meek). So grateful are we for His presence that we yearn for more of Him (we hunger and thirst). As we grow closer to Him, we become more like Him. We forgive others (we're merciful). We change our outlook (we're pure in heart). We love others (we're peace-makers). We endure injustice (we're persecuted for righteousness' sake).

It's no casual shift of attitude. It is a demolition of the old structure and a creation of the new. The more radical the change, the greater the joy (Amen). And it's worth every effort, for this is the joy of God (Hallelujah).

Devotional

Guard the Gateway

The devil, your enemy, goes around like a roaring lion looking for someone to eat. Refuse to give in to him, by standing strong in your faith.

1Peter 5:8-9

You've got to admit, some of our hearts are trashed out. Let any riffraff knock on the door, and we throw it open. Anger shows up, and we let him in. Revenge needs a place to stay, so we have him pull up a chair. Pity wants to have a party, so we show him the kitchen. Lust rings the bell, and we change the sheets on the bed. Don't we know how to say no?

Many don't. For most of us, thought management is, well, unthought-of. We think much about time management, weight management, personnel management, even scalp management. But what about thought management? Shouldn't we be as concerned about managing our thoughts as we are managing anything else? Jesus was. Like a trained soldier at the gate of a city, He stood watch over His mind. He stubbornly guarded the gateway of His heart....

If He did, shouldn't we…?

Just Like Jesus

***A New Thing***

The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.
(Proverbs 10:22)
God is soooo Good, Great, Amazing, Awesome, Majestic, Perfect, Wonderful, Beautiful, Holy, Righteous, Excellent.... Oh I Love Him so much! I Love You Jesus I Worship and Adore You-- I just want to tell You -- Lord, I Love You, MORE, than anything/anyone.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for what You have done in me and for what You are doing through me.

Like never before I am experiencing an Increase in the Presence of the Lord through Peaceful Productivity, Blessings, Courage, Joy, Love, Peace, and Strength in Abundance; and it's all because of Jesus! Hallelujah!!!

There is nothing like the Glory of God being with you, in you, on you, and around you -- everywhere you go and everything you do.

The Presence of the Lord is here. I feel Him in me and in my atmosphere. The Spirit of the Lord is here. I feel Him in me and in my atmosphere. He is with me always and I am so grateful for that.

"The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
(Isaiah 61:1)
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn,
(Isaiah 61:2)
To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified."
(Isaiah 61:3)

Meditate on these things and you too can experience peace, joy, love...

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy meditate on these things.
(Philippians 4:8)

Uuuuuummmmmm!!!

Thinking

Ooohhh Yes...

{ What you think (meditate, focus on) about -- You bring about.}

"What you focus on with your thoughts and feeling is what you attract into your experience. People think about what they don’t want and attract more of the same"

Feed Your Spirit!

Reading Dramatic Death
What you feed grows!
(Feed your spirit with the Word of God and godly things so that God can get the glory.)
What you starve dies!
(Starve the ungodly desires of the flesh so that it will submit easily to the Spirit of God)

(Psalms 119:11)
Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.
