EVERLASTING LOVE!

For those who are following -- it has been 6 months now since I began locing my hair. It has been quite a journey inwardly and outwardly. I say that because somehow my hair has always reflected outwardly what God is doing in my life inwardly. I am going through a transformation just like a caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly and this is only the beginning. This collage is compiled with pictures from months 3 through 6. I began the hair locking process on May 23rd of this year. When I first started out my hair was very short and it seemed thin. Here are few pictures of the very first day that my hair stylist did my coils and one week later in Erie, PA. I was told by several individuals that I was a good candidate to begin locking my hair and they said it would look nice on me as well. It took months for me to really decide to try it. Then at my second appointment I saw amazing results that I was impressed with I could not believe how much and how quickly my hair began to grow. My hair stylist was also impressed with the results. Have you ever found yourself repeating a single phrase to yourself and not necessarily have a full understanding of why? Well, such was the case for me. I have been repeating the phrase "I just want to be me" for quite some time now -- I would say years. After really thinking about it and asking myself why I have been repeating that phrase to myself and when are the times I find myself saying it most -- I have now come to the realization that all this time I have really been settling in my mind and heart who the real me is, the me God has created me to be, the process that I am going through, and where I am in that process. I have gone through many stages within the past 3-5 years of my life and I can honestly say that I am beginning to see who the real me is. The person whom God has created me to be. I am so blessed beyond measures in my 28th year and the best is yet to come and it's coming soon! To God Be ALL the Glory! I am in Pursuit of the Glory!!! I will abide in His Presence!!!
